I am Caucasian. mid 30's, and I have VERY sensitive skin. Like if I touch it, a zit appears. I had a rough week last week with work; a few sleepless nights, traveling, walking around windy and cold cities. My skin was looking really rough. This mask that I had ordered finally had come in. (How serendipitous?!) I was a bit weary, as it came from China, and I know that there is risk of counterfeit products. The instructions are odd, as they listed instructions for a bunch of Eve Lom products in one booklet. I googled around to see what the product is supposed to look like, and what the instructions & packaging are supposed to look like. I found pics of the lotion and it seemed to match, but could not find any copies of the instruction book or original packaging to verify this was the correct packaging ( which is a red flag for counterfeit). I decided to risk it and try it anyway. It smells spearminty but not too much so. When applied, at first it stung a little bit, but that quickly subsided. A little went a long way. I left on for 15 minutes and felt that was plenty of time. It dried to a clay dry cake. My skin felt AMAZING when I washed it off. It washes off easily with warm water. Today, my skin feels a thousand times better than it did yesterday. My pores seem smaller. the dried crust skin I had going on yesterday is almost all gone. My acne that was flaring up is better. This stuff works!Answer: EVE LOM RESCUE MASK!! The whole country has been in a freak winter season.....freezing one day, then eighty degrees the next...then back down in the 20s. With rain, sleet, and snow for 2 days ; 60 degrees the next 2 days,etc.,etc,......Sound familiar? Well, does that wreak havoc on your skin......You bet it does!! I decided to give Eve Lom a try....She has such a great reputation and has clients from royalty to celebrities to the wives of sheiks....They all fly to London to get Eve Lom's facials!!! Amazon is so amazing to jump on the finest products in the the world--and then we all benefit because we get great prices on a rather pricey line.....But the price becomes less relevant when we get the best results!!! And your skin eill thank you for the tall drink of water!! It is not one of those troublesome, messy masks like we are familiar with....It only takes a few minutes of your time and only a few times a week dropping down to once a week...Your skin feels hydrated, smooth, and resurfaced.....Try it--you will see!!!!!I have oily skin, and most masks make me break out because they moisturize the skin too much. This mask is great for my skin though, and it smells amazing. It has a bit of a medicinal smell, goes on easy, and dries out acne spots really well. I have heard this one reccomended by a woman for during menstrual times when people break out. I can see a benefit of this mask. I would reccommend to try a smaller bottle first to make sure you like it, because it's really expensive. Not sure it's worth this much money, but I have not found a mask quite like this one anywhere else so far.Ever since I have used the rescue mask, my acne has subsided and there is no puffiness on my face. It also makes my pores finer!I cannot rave enough about Eve Lom products. They're absolutely incredible, and I swear by them. This mask is perfect for when you're having a breakout or any skin issues. I usually use it around my "time of the month" when my skin acts up. But have noticed if I use it once a week, my skin remains flawless <3 <3 <3 LOVE LOVE LOVE. I recommend her products to everyone and anyone asking for a new skin product to try.WORTH EVERY PENNYNot particularly more expensive than other effective cleansing mask. I have sensitive and combination skin, so I am very careful when it comes to mask. Masks, like Origins, irritate my skin and it causes redness. However, this Eve Lom rescue mask does NOT irritate my skin at all. I put a thin layer on my face after I use the Eve Lom Cleanser. It has an cooling effect. It is comfortable without drying my skin. I put it on my skin for 15 mins to 20 mins. I cleaned it off with warm water and the muslin cloth. Skin feels soft and soothed after use.it feels great it smells great and it makes my skin feel wonderful. It's very cooling and I just can't quite explain the beautiful texture my face has when I rinse this off. I don't scrape or slough it off like the directions say- my sensitive skin would object to that in sure. But rinsing with one of the eve Kim muslin cloths works great. Love this stuff, will be using a few times a week for sure!This is my favorite mask out there. Makes my skin feel amazing after I wash it off. It has no bad ingredients like preservatives, which makes me like it more. My forehead seemed like it was about to break out one time, did this mask and it calmed it down and I never broke out. The 3.3 oz size seems to last a long time for me.Have used this mask for years. I am 60 years old. Still think it's the best on the market. But I only gave it 4 stars as it is supposed to come with a gold coloured spatula and it didn't. I usually buy this product from Space NK but as I shop for a lot of things on Amazon I thought I would buy it here. The gold spatula makes it feel decedent but its real purpose is controlling the right amount to use ..... very clever.One of the best face masks on the market and so much cheaper to buy on Amazon.Repeat buying this product for many yearsWhat can I say about this product?
